Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Kubernetes Consultant to join our client’s team and support the design, deployment, and optimization of Kubernetes-based solutions. The consultants will work closely with DevOps, cloud architecture, and development teams to implement scalable, secure, and efficient container orchestration environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Kubernetes clusters across cloud/on-premise/hybrid environments
- Migrate existing applications to Kubernetes with best practices
- Configure and manage Helm charts, namespaces, service meshes, and Ingress controllers
- Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using tools like ArgoCD, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize containerized workloads
- Implement security best practices (RBAC, secrets management, network policies)
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration
- Document solutions and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in deploying and managing production-grade Kubernetes environments
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, CRI-O, etc.)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) – EKS, GKE, or AKS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Helm, Istio, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS)
- Experience in multi-tenant Kubernetes environments
- Background in security or compliance (e.g., SOC2, HIPAA)
