The person filling this position must be a hands-on, pro-active, self-motivated administrator with strong initiative and a desire to succeed in a challenging environment. You will demonstrate technical leadership by championing cloud-native practices and implementing sophisticated Kubernetes solutions that support our large distributed environment. You'll be expected to provide architectural guidance and demonstrate expertise in cluster management, security hardening, and performance optimization. Your advanced knowledge will drive best practices and innovation across our container infrastructure while balancing operational excellence with engineering team requirements.
- Minimum requirement of BS + 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in Kubernetes architecture, administration, and security
- Strong Linux system administration and container technologies experience
- Experience with Kubernetes package management and templating tools (Helm, Kustomize)
- Experience developing custom Kubernetes operators and controllers
- Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (Python, Bash, Go)
- Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and configuration management (Puppet, Ansible)
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Experience with monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk) and performance tuning
